A Note From Executive Artistic Director, Marc Gaston

Our Season Finale "GLEE ‘ked OUT!" on May 4, 5 & 6, 2012, will be an all music celebration of all things GLEE.  The entire concert is utilizing all original GLEE arrangements featuring these top artists: Fleetwood Mac, Bruno Mars, REO Speedwagon, Madonna, Bill Withers, Queen, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Journey, Lady GaGa, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Adele, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat along with Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.   This will be an exciting all music performance with special dance numbers all accompanied by an 11 piece instrumental ensemble.
Following this exciting season finale we will be joining Arizona Women In Tune, Desert Overture & Voices of the Desert in a joint concert on June 24, 2012 entitled "We Are One".  Then we are off to the GALA International Chorale Festival in Denver this July representing Arizona and our community as we join LGBT voices from around the world.
This season the Grand Canyon Performing Arts is proud to honor The Trevor Project.  The Trevor Project was chosen for their outstanding efforts as the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention efforts among LGBTQ youth.
Their mission compliments that of the Grand Canyon Performing Arts, to serve as a voice for the LGBT community to unite, inspire and educate audiences through the wonderful medium of the performing arts.
By performing with us or attending our concerts and events you not only get entertained and blessed, but you are participating in saving young lives.  Together we hope to promote tolerance, and encourage everyone to "sing to their own song."
